After nearly 10 years of vision, planning, construction, and community support, the Goff Family Shelter is finally in the home stretch.
On Saturday, June 27th, join St. Augustine Society, Inc. for a Community Open House to see firsthand how our community has created a space that will provide safety, stability, and hope for families in crisis as they work on transitioning from the streets to stability.
More than an emergency shelter, the Goff Family Shelter will be a safe haven for families in St. Johns County experiencing homelessness — a place where parents and children can remain together while rebuilding their lives.
Soon, these doors will open to provide:
9 family rooms with 37 beds
Meals and basic necessities
Compassionate support and resources
Pathways toward permanent housing
Because homelessness is local, it is personal. And it is something we can address together. Every family deserves the safety of shelter, and the power of staying together.
Goff Family Shelter is a program of the St. Francis Crisis Housing Shelter. St. Augustine Society, Inc. operates St. Francis Housing Crisis Center, Port in the Storm Homeless Youth Shelter, and SOS Outreach programs, offering free, emergency essential services for homeless youth, individuals and families in St. Johns County.
