First Friday Artwalk

The Art Galleries of Saint Augustine founded and sponsors the award-winning First Friday Art Walk event on the first Friday of every month. Galleries open their doors from 5 to 9 p.m., offering new art exhibits and lively receptions to the public.

Creekside Festival

The Creekside Festival is a Florida Heritage Festival that has become one of the most popular festivals around, attracting more than 10,000 visitors each year. The annual festival features family friendly activities, variety live music, bluegrass, country, rock & classic hits.

During the two-day event you can also experience historic demonstrations, check-out an authentic moonshine still, a variety of food, local vendors, beer garden, pony rides, petting zoo, kids zone with train rides, hay rides, face painting, bounce houses and much more in a picturesque natural setting at Princess Place Preserve.

Admission costs $10 for each adult, kids 12 and under are free!


CROCtoberfest

St. Augustine Alligator Farm

On the first weekend of October each year, the Alligator Farm celebrates crocodilians through their Brew-at-the-Zoo, Croctoberfest! This conservation event features breweries and vendors from throughout Florida. You can sample beers from your neighborhood breweries as you learn about conservation work happening right here in St Johns County.

Local restaurants will also be onsite dishing out some of their favorites. The full list of participating breweries, restaurants, conservation organizations, and more is posted at the beginning of each September.

This is a strictly 21 and older event. No Children including infants or toddlers are permitted.


St. Augustine Greek Festival - Taverna Style

Escape to Greece during Greek Fest - Taverna Style at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church! The Annual St. Augustine Greek Fest is shaking things up during this year's event to provide guests a truly authentic Greek experience.

Happening October 11th and 12th, Greek Fest - Taverna Style will transport guests to a charming Greek restaurant. Reserve your space to enjoy an authentic lunch or dinner in the festive ambiance customary for Greek tavernas.

Florida Bohemian Fest

Ancient City Entertainment is bringing you a one-day event where nature, art, food, and entertainment come together unifying mind, body and spirit.

The largest one-day vendor event of its kind in the state, the Florida Bohemian Festival is happening on Sunday, October 13th at the Florida Agricultural Museum.

The holistic event will feature workshops, activities, education and vendors specializing in yoga, plant-based foods, gardening, recycling, rocks and minerals, metaphysical, arts, naturopathy, drum circles, self-improvement and more.

Admission is only $10 per person and kids 10 and under are free. Everyone is encouraged to bring the entire family to this wholesome event.


St. Benedict Blues Festival

The Saint Benedict the Moor Blues Festival will be held on October 18th through 20nd to benefit the Saint Benedict the Moor Catholic Mission Rectory Fund.

This year marks the 12th year of the annual festival featuring some of the best blues performers, amazing home cooked food and tons of fun.

All proceeds from the Blues Fest benefit the St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church renovation.

Admission is $7 at the gate, $5 in advance. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.


St. Johns County Cracker Day

Head to the 65th Annual Cracker Day and Market on Saturday October 19th 2024!

Watch, ride and learn about the Cracker Cattle and cowboy history. The event features lots of food options, activities, craft vendors, pony rides, cowboys, snacks and plenty of horses and horse races for your enjoyment. Fun for all ages! Pets are welcome but must be on a leash and be picked up after.

Vilano Vibe-Rations

Catch the small town beach vibe at the second annual Vilano Beach music festival!

This year’s event will highlight the hottest local musicians who will be strumming up great tunes throughout the afternoon into the early evening.

As the music flows and the crowd is swaying, there will be plenty of deliciousness that will be served up by some of our city’s finest food truck vendors from BBQ to Seafood and everything in between – come hungry!!

A beer tent and bars will be available and we will be serving up one-of-a-kind local brews, wines, cocktails and of course non-alcoholic bevvies.

These GOOD GOOD GOOD GOOD VIBE-Rations…are being coordinated by Vilano Beach Main Street. Proceeds help to support community beautification efforts and other community events.

Walk to Defeat ALS

Ripley's Believe It or Not

On Saturday, October 26, 2024 the St. Augustine community will gather at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! for the 2024 Walk to Defeat ALS St. Augustine — to support and fund a cure for ALS.

ALS patients, along with their families, friends, advocates, and supporters, will embark on a 1.5-mile journey through historic downtown St. Augustine in The Walk to Defeat ALS, holding onto hope that their steps will contribute to improving the lives of ALS patients living in the nation’s oldest city. Many participants walk in honor of loved ones still battling this life-limiting disease, while others walk in memory of those who have lost their fight. Many individuals, without personal connections to ALS, walk to support efforts that aim to fund research, making ALS a livable disease for all until a cure is found.

EPIC Ancient City Kids’ Day

Coordinated by EPIC Behavioral Healthcare and brought to the community by a committee of children organizations, Ancient City Kids Day is a day of fun-filled activities for children and families.

The event is free for the public and will include more than 40 youth service organizations each of whom will offer games, activities, crafts, give-aways, bounce houses or fun contests for kids. They will also be offering resource information for parents regarding programs and services in the community.

There will be free t-shirts/goody bags for kids while they last and live entertainment all day.

Admission to this event is free!
