The annual event features dozens of concerts, shows, exhibits and much more at locations throughout the city, showcasing productions by dozens of St. Augustine’s talented Arts and Cultural nonprofit organizations.

The St. Augustine History Festival was created and conceived by UFHSA (University of Florida Historic St. Augustine, Inc.) and the Lastinger Family Foundation for the purpose of generating excitement about the history of America’s oldest city.

The goal is to showcase every era of St. Augustine’s long and storied past, from the founding in 1565 to the most advanced technology available in 2024 to research and study every year in-between. American history began here, and no one tells the story better than they do – come out and enjoy the city!

Guests will experience an art show showcasing the impact on the families they have served and hear from some of their clients and supporters. All proceeds from Night of the Arts supports Fostering Connections’ education programs and enrichment scholarships for youth and their families impacted by foster care, adoption, or trauma throughout Northeast Florida.

The annual festival features national headliners and a full-day concert line-up with regional musicians. The family-friendly event is the official summer kick-off filled with live music, vendors, food trucks, water slide, a fly photo booth and DUH… a celebration of all things 90s.
