Don’t miss the 16th Annual Saint Augustine Film Festival happening January 5th through 11th at various venues located in downtown St. Augustine.
This multi-day event features more than 50 films, actors, filmmakers and parties all during the Nights of Lights in the nation’s oldest city.

Jimmy Jam’s BBQ Slam
January 9-10, 2026

Plan to attend the largest BBQ event in Northeast Florida - Jimmy Jam’s BBQ Slam on January 9th and 10th.
Barbecue teams will compete for the best chicken, best ribs, best pork and best brisket.
This family-friendly event features not only the KCBS BBQ Competition, but other activities as well including a car show, cornhole competition, BBQ tastings during People’s Choice Awards, Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show, live music, more than 60 local vendors, kids’ zone, food trucks, cold beer and drinks, a raffle and chili/chowder cook-off.
Every dollar raised by this non-profit event goes to support the philanthropic work of Jimmy Jam Community Outreach, a local organization rooted in giving and friendship.

46th Annual Matanzas 5000

The 46th Annual Matanzas 5000, Florida’s FASTEST 5K returns on Saturday, January 24th at 8:00 a.m.
Run this fast course through the scenic streets of historic St. Augustine with a chance to compete for cash prizes ($4,000 prize pool!) in multiple categories.
Since 1989, the Matanzas 5000 has raised and donated well over $300,000 to support youth running programs in St. Johns County. Proceeds benefit middle and high school track and cross-country teams, including the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind.
