The Fort Mose Jazz & Blues Series is a collection of six memorable performances honoring both the rich history of American music, and the legacy of the first free Black settlement in what is now the United States.
In the course of two weekends, from February 8th through 17th, world-class artists will grace the stage to celebrate music at Fort Mose Historic State Park.
Join them as they celebrate history, freedom, and creativity–through the incomparable joy of live music.

Lighthouse 5K and Fun Run

In an effort to continue our support for the St. Augustine Lighthouse, the Junior Service League hosts an annual 5K & Fun Run! The inaugural race in 1983 was originally titled the “Bud Light Twilight Lighthouse Run.” This year marks the 40th anniversary.
The 5k starts at 8am and the one-mile Fun Run starts at 9 a.m.
The Lighthouse 5K is a chipped race that serves as a qualifier for the famed Gate River Run. The Fun Run is a true treat for the little runners! Don’t miss the awards ceremony following the race on the beautiful Lighthouse grounds.

The third Saturday of every month, head to the Vilano Beach Artisan Market. This cool market lines the beautiful sidewalks of Vilano Road and hosts dozens of vendors and artists.
A perfect evening is in store as you sip a glass of wine or a cold beer from the cash bar , shop locally made goods, sway to the music and stop in at Puccini’s to purchase a delicious hot slice of pizza.
