In honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, St. Augustine City Walks is offering a new FREE tour…St Augustine & the Birth of America Historic Walking Tour.

Did you know that St. Augustine played an important role in the American Revolutionary War? During the tour, you’ll stroll through the colorful streets and along the historic bayfront as we share the city's colonial tales. You may be surprised to learn where St. Augustine and all of East Florida’s loyalty lay during the American Revolution. Discover the stories of the signers of the Declaration of Independence who became prisoners of war in St. Augustine and how they spent their days here in the nation’s oldest city. Visit the buildings that date back to before the Revolutionary War, and discover the rebels who were hiding within.
