For three days, enjoy folk, Americana, and bluegrass music from dozens of bands featured on four stages at the 29th Annual Gamble Rogers Folk Festival, held April 11-13, 2025 at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds. Celebrating one of St. Augustine’s most admired natives, the festival honors Gamble Rogers and his musical storytelling that forever changed folk music.
Headlining the festival this year is a very special encore performance by The John Jorgenson Quintet, hailed as the “U.S. ambassadors of Gypsy Jazz” around the world, are back by popular demand! The Quintet is a dynamic, authentic gypsy jazz band led by music virtuoso and multi-instrumentalist, John Jorgenson. Also featured will be The Jontavious Willis Band, a master bluesman, whose Georgia heritage and reverence for traditional Blues—makes him want to get the world dancing again, so bring your dancing shoes!
Additional headliner supporting acts include the venerable Verlon Thompson, Willi Carlisle, Roy Book Binder, Flagship Romance, Michael Reno Harrell, Jubal Lee Young, Josh Goforth, Red and Christopher Henry & Their All Star Band and The Little Mercies, the sweethearts of Florida Folk!
