Celebrate the heart of Hastings!
The 2027 Spring Cabbage, Potato & Bacon Festival returns Friday, April 23–Sunday, April 25, for a weekend celebrating the farms, food, history and community that make Hastings special.
The weekend kicks off Friday evening with a special Opening Reception featuring tapas and cocktails and the unveiling of the new Hastings Historic Walking Tour, celebrating the people, places and stories that shaped Florida’s Potato Capital.
On Saturday and Sunday, downtown Hastings comes alive with farm-to-table food experiences, the Great Hastings Mow Down Lawn Mower Races, artisan market, live music, Spud Run 5K & 10K, Miss Potato Queen Pageant and plenty of hometown fun.
Saturday is also a celebration of Hastings from farm to table. During the day, enjoy the Streetside Brunch Tastings, featuring creative bites inspired by the crops and flavors of our agricultural community.
Saturday evening, the celebration continues at The Venue – Hastings with the Potato Ball, featuring Chef Genie McNally of The Floridian. Chef Genie and her team will create a special Slow Food USA-inspired farm-to-table dining experience celebrating seasonal ingredients, local farmers and the important connection between the people who grow our food and the community gathered around the table.
